Independent Study – Wheel throwing

Looking for more freedom to explore your own ideas on the pottery wheel? Our Independent Study – Wheel Throwing class is designed for students who already know the basics and want to keep growing. You’ll enjoy dedicated studio time, supportive guidance from an instructor, and the flexibility to work on the projects that matter most to you.

Ceramic Lamp Workshop

In this three-week class, students learn new techniques and practice existing skills while creating a ceramic lamp. In the first session, students build a small tea-light version of their lamp and receive guidance on how to proceed. In the second session, students build the full lamp, calculate shrinkage so components fit properly, and prepare the piece for drying. In the final session, students glaze their lamps.

Hand Building: All Levels
